Yahoo Finance Analysis: Dell Technologies and Palo Alto Networks to Report Earnings on September 1, Market Focuses on Valuation and Performance
Yahoo Finance analysis points out that Dell Technologies (DELL) and Palo Alto Networks (PANW) will release their earnings reports after the market closes on Tuesday, September 1st, ET. Both companies' stock prices have more than doubled this year, with Dell Technologies up 262.4% year-to-date and Palo Alto Networks up 101.7%. The analysis suggests that despite Palo Alto Networks beating expectations for five consecutive quarters, its stock price has, on average, fallen by 3.73% on the day of its earnings release. Dell Technologies, on the other hand, beat its EPS estimate by 64% last quarter, with revenue reaching $43.8 billion, setting a high bar for the upcoming earnings report.
