Apple Alleges OpenAI Defendant Used Trade Secrets to Train AI
According to a legal filing, Apple claims a defendant in its trade-secret case against OpenAI accessed a proprietary power-converter circuit schematic and used confidential Apple information to train an AI agent while at OpenAI. Apple states new evidence supporting this came from a MacBook provided by OpenAI on August 21 during legal proceedings, and is asking a U.S. federal court to expedite discovery in the case.
