Ignyte Insurance, a U.S. company, has acquired travel insurance marketplace InsureMyTrip to expand its portfolio of travel and travel medical insurance businesses. InsureMyTrip will retain its existing brand and continue operations, but the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Following this acquisition, InsureMyTrip will join five other travel brands under Ignyte, bringing Ignyte's total portfolio of businesses to over $650 million in gross written premiums.
