Saudi national shipping company Bahri confirmed on Wednesday that its vessel Sidr was involved in a security incident while transiting the Strait of Hormuz on Monday night, resulting in the deaths of two Filipino seafarers. The Saudi foreign ministry condemned Iran's targeting of the tanker and stressed the need to halt escalation and respect international navigation security.
