NVIDIA Confirms $12.9 Billion Acquisition of AI Model Platform Hugging Face
NVIDIA has confirmed its acquisition of AI model platform Hugging Face for $12.9 billion. Hugging Face boasts over 3 million models and 18 million developers. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that Hugging Face will continue to support open-source and open-weight models, and is committed to expanding developer access without mandating the use of NVIDIA's computing platform.
