Federal Reserve Governor Waller stated in an interview on Thursday that he would be inclined to support maintaining the benchmark interest rate at its current level if upcoming inflation data continues to show improvement. Following these remarks, Bitcoin's price surged nearly 3%, breaking past $80,000 to approximately $80,270, and total crypto market short liquidations exceeded $415 million in the past 24 hours. The CME FedWatch Tool indicates that the probability of a Fed rate hike in September has decreased from 63.2% the previous day to 50.4%. Concurrently, the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield fell to about 4.73%, and all three major U.S. stock indices also rose by nearly 1%.
