The Israeli campaign of destruction has spread to the Arraba Plain in the occupied West Bank, a key agricultural area. On Thursday, bulldozers were seen razing olive groves and demolishing structures, with Israeli flags planted across the affected areas, extending into Area A, which is technically under Palestinian Authority control. This week, approximately 250 olive trees belonging to the al-Uraidi family were uprooted. Israeli authorities have issued notices for the removal of trees and vegetation along a seven-kilometer stretch and military orders covering over 300 dunams (0.3 sq km) of land for “security purposes.” This follows the formal inauguration of the Emek Dotan settlement on August 9, which has led to increased settler attacks and the destruction of Palestinian land and property.
