A recent survey by Boston Consulting Group (BCG) found that half of 70 C-suite leaders are already observing a weakening of judgment and problem-solving skills within their organizations due to AI adoption, with over 60% believing this loss will harm their business in three to five years. Nearly 90% of executives reported that employees have stopped checking AI's work, and more than half noted a decreased willingness among employees to take ownership of their decisions. Additionally, a 2025 MIT study revealed that participants using ChatGPT for writing showed significantly lower brain activity compared to those using web search or working independently.
