Bridgewater acquired approximately 108,700 shares of VMC, valued at about $32.1 million, representing 0.13% of its portfolio. Its stake in Hasbro was valued at approximately $20.8 million. VMC is a major producer of construction aggregates in the United States, and its stock price has fallen about 14% year-to-date. Wells Fargo recently downgraded VMC to "Underweight," citing weak government spending, high interest rates, and soft housing demand.
