Al Jazeera reported that Israel launched a "double-tap" airstrike on Gaza City on Tuesday, killing two people, including a 15-year-old schoolboy, despite a "ceasefire" agreement brokered by the US between Israel and Hamas last October. According to reports, a Palestinian civil defense medic was injured in the first strike, and then the schoolboy, Mohammed Abdul Zinati, who came to his aid, was killed in the second strike. Since the "ceasefire" in October 2025, at least 1,381 people have been killed and 4,757 injured in the Gaza Strip.
