Hamas' military wing advised donors to avoid Binance, recommending Bybit, OKX, Kast, and Redotpay instead, according to U.S. DoJ documents
The Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas' military wing, instructed potential donors to avoid using Binance for fund transfers, citing concerns over wallet blocking and security, and suggested using Tether's USDT stablecoin via the TRC-20 network. Instead, the group recommended rival crypto platforms such as Bybit, OKX, Kast, and Redotpay. Binance's chief compliance officer Noah Perlman stated that terrorist groups avoiding Binance indicates their controls are working. OKX and Kast also confirmed their robust compliance protocols, with OKX noting that the referenced wallet address was already flagged for illicit activity and any transfer attempts would be prevented.
