OpenAI Launches AI Tools for Advertisers, Tests "Sponsored Agents" Feature, and Partners with HubSpot and Shopify
OpenAI announced the launch of AI tools for advertisers and began testing "Sponsored Agents." This feature allows users to interact with enterprise-sponsored AI agents within the ChatGPT interface and is currently being tested with select advertisers in the United States. Concurrently, OpenAI introduced Ads Manager, which supports the creation, updating, and analysis of advertising campaigns through natural language commands, with AI-generated ad proposals, recommended copy, and accompanying images. Furthermore, OpenAI has established partnerships with customer relationship management platform HubSpot and e-commerce platform Shopify. Shopify applications will be progressively rolled out in international markets covered by ChatGPT advertising starting September 23.
