Reuters, citing informed sources, reported that during the meeting, the Houthis told the U.S. that they did not intend to attack U.S. or Israeli vessels and claimed they would abide by a bilateral ceasefire agreement in 2025. However, one Yemeni source stated that the Houthis also said they would not attack any commercial vessels, with the sole exception of Saudi vessels.
