He proposed that if a company controls more than 5% of the hashrate resources in the United States or globally, it could be considered a "systemically important institution" and subject to stricter regulation. Furthermore, Jensen suggested that regulators could consider limiting the scale of hashrate that a single company can own to prevent a few companies from controlling an excessively high proportion of computing resources.
