Coinbase Seeks CFTC Approval to Launch Single-Stock Perpetual Futures in US
Coinbase Derivatives has filed an application with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) seeking approval to launch cash-settled perpetual futures products linked to U.S.-listed stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). These contracts will trade 24/5 on the Coinbase Derivatives platform, feature hourly funding rates, and be cleared through Nodal Clear. This move expands Coinbase's domestic perpetual futures offerings from stock indices to single securities.
