FAW-Volkswagen officially launched the ID. AURA T6 on September 20, with four models priced between 129,900 and 166,900 yuan. Two of these models, equipped with lidar, start at 149,900 yuan. Pre-orders for the vehicle have exceeded 30,000 units. The T6 is the first pure electric SUV from the Volkswagen brand to feature lidar, and also FAW-Volkswagen's first mass-produced model to adopt China's Electronic and Electrical Architecture (CEA), aiming to enhance competitiveness through localized technology.
