ADB raises South Korea's 2026 economic growth forecast to 3.2% on strong exports amid AI boom
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) on Wednesday raised South Korea's economic growth forecast for 2026 to 3.2% from its July projection of 2.6%, citing strong exports and corporate earnings driven by the artificial intelligence (AI) boom. The ADB also increased South Korea's growth outlook for 2027 by 0.3 percentage points to 2.3%.
