Bessent also outlined the Trump administration's three strategic goals for Iran, which include internal collapse of the Iranian regime, an uprising by the Iranian people, or reaching and adhering to an agreement. He also noted that the current economic pressure on Iran is "unprecedented," with Iran's international flights having decreased by 80% to 90%.
