Additionally, Jamal Raees, a Polygon Labs executive, has joined the Foundation as General Manager of Payments, where he will collaborate with payment companies and enterprises to expand Solana's application as payment infrastructure. The Foundation stated that Solana has processed over $5 trillion in stablecoin transaction volume year-to-date in 2026, with over $4.5 billion in real-world assets on the network, and tokenized equity supply surpassing $620 million.
