Cardano Welcomes New Native Library for Python, Go, Rust and JavaScript
The new native shared library, Mesmo, implements Cardano's core functionality in Python, Go, Rust, and JavaScript without requiring a Java Virtual Machine. The Cardano Foundation stated that Mesmo fills a missing 5% of developer needs not covered by existing SDKs. Meanwhile, alternative node development continues, with Dingo validating Mainnet blocks and the Amaru node team achieving its Q3 goal, targeting Mainnet block production in Q4. Cardano recently marked its 9th anniversary, with the mainnet launching on September 29, 2017.
