Hong Kong significantly narrowed Dubai’s lead as the world’s top market for “super-prime” residential property (homes sold for US$10 million or more) in recent months, according to Knight Frank. Dubai retained first place in Q2 with 131 sales worth a combined US$2.17 billion, but the total value of those transactions fell 27% compared with the previous quarter, as rising conflict in the Middle East weighed on market activity. Hong Kong recorded 93 transactions worth US$1.67 billion during the same period.
