Oracle Japan reported a 13% year-over-year increase in net sales to 74.86 billion yen (approximately $472 million) for the quarter ending in August. Operating profit rose 22.7% to 25.92 billion yen, and net profit increased 23.2% to 18.25 billion yen, with all metrics reaching new highs for the fiscal first quarter. This surge contrasts with the overnight decline of over 3% in the share price of U.S.-listed Oracle Corporation, which had previously issued a "force majeure" notice related to a data center project in New Mexico.
