Two obscure pools fueled $2.8B XRPL volume, but only 185 trades caused it
According to XRPL.to's Sept. 24 feed, two pools (XPM/TIX and RLUSD/TIX) that exchange issued tokens accounted for 97.24% of the seven-day automated market maker (AMM) volume in XRP Ledger (XRPL). The reported total volume was $2.82 billion, with XPM/TIX contributing $1.68 billion and RLUSD/TIX over $1 billion. These pools, created on Sept. 21, do not contain XRP, and the volume was generated by only 185 trades (69 for XPM/TIX and 116 for RLUSD/TIX). The report raises questions about the valuation method and whether this volume reflects actual XRP demand.
