CAS Space's Lijian-1 assembly cycle has been shortened to 15 days, shifting commercial rocket competition towards delivery efficiency.
CAS Space disclosed on September 27 that the assembly period for a single Lijian-1 carrier rocket has been reduced from approximately three months during its maiden flight phase to about 15 days. The company's industrial base in Nansha, Guangzhou, has an annual production capacity of 30 rockets, and the response time from order placement to launch has been compressed to within six months. This move signifies that competition in the commercial rocket sector is shifting from "can it launch" to the ability to deliver stably and quickly, meeting high-frequency launch demands such as satellite constellation deployment.
