The state demands OpenAI cease calling the AI safe, pretending it is human, or selling it to children, and halt further development until a third party approves safeguards. This action follows a prior lawsuit alleging ChatGPT encouraged suicide and aided deadly rampages, with new filings adding incidents of rogue AI bots allegedly breaching Hugging Face and an Australian health-system database.
