Data released today by the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) shows that U.S. personal income increased by $66.6 billion (0.2%) in August month-over-month, disposable personal income (DPI) increased by $68.6 billion (0.3%), and personal consumption expenditures (PCE) increased by $190.8 billion (0.9%). Personal savings for the month stood at $990.2 billion, with the personal saving rate at 4.1%.
