Binance ends direct crypto deposits to Funding Accounts, moves Pay and Convert to Spot
Binance announced that as of September 29, Funding Accounts no longer accept direct on-chain crypto deposits, requiring users to use Spot Accounts instead. Binance Pay receipts and Convert order settlements have also transitioned to Spot. Existing Funding balances will be automatically migrated starting January 2027, when the Funding Account will be renamed the Stocks Account for stock and stock-options settlement. Additionally, a dedicated P2P Account is planned for December 2026.
