New full-day measurements correct previous claims that Robinhood Chain's block production ceased during its September 4 outage. Despite a significant drop in application traffic, the Ethereum Layer-2 network continued to produce blocks throughout the approximately 40-minute application disruption. Data measured by Glass Hull on September 29 shows that 854,255 blocks were produced across all 1440 minutes on September 4 UTC, with the longest continuous block timestamp interval being only two seconds. Previous reports by CryptoSlate on September 5, which stated that block production had ceased for at least 14 minutes, have been proven incorrect. Walnut's analysis found that while the volume of successful transactions on Robinhood Chain's busy applications sharply declined between 12:37 and 13:20 UTC, the chain itself did not stop producing blocks.
