The Cambridge-based multinational pharmaceutical giant stated that if Hong Kong can establish a new healthcare financing model, it will attract more global biotech investment. AstraZeneca has invested over $25.5 million (approximately HK$200 million) in Hong Kong over the past three years and conducted more than 60 clinical trials. Its executive, David Fredrickson, said Hong Kong remains a key R&D center for the company.
