China aims to increase its intelligent computing capacity by more than fourfold compared to the level at the end of June this year, as part of a five-year plan to drive artificial intelligence development. This 2030 target will require significant innovation and adaptation due to US restrictions on importing advanced Western-made AI chips. The country's capacity had already increased by 177% in the past year.
