Coinbase completed the migration of its International Exchange to Deribit on October 1st, ET. The old platform has now transitioned to read-only mode, with all trading activities moved to Deribit. This switch impacted the trading connectivity, settlement cycles, and historical records of affected institutional clients. Coinbase stated that this integration consolidates derivatives liquidity previously spread across two platforms, but available products and access remain dependent on account type and geographic location. Following the migration, perpetual contract positions will be settled once daily, replacing the old platform's five-minute settlement cycle.
