THORChain Activates Zcash Liquidity Pool, Enabling Direct Bitcoin to Zcash Swaps
Cross-chain protocol THORChain has activated a liquidity pool for Zcash (ZEC), launching the first decentralized platform for direct, permissionless swaps between Bitcoin (BTC) and ZEC without intermediaries, KYC, or "wrapped" assets. Developers warn the pool is extremely shallow at launch, creating a risk of significant price slippage on large orders.
