Doosan Robotics announced on Tuesday that it has secured two major South Korean government R&D agreements aimed at building the nation's first physical AI manufacturing platform by embedding domestic semiconductors into collaborative robots. These government-backed projects will receive 68.1 billion won (approximately $50.7 million) in subsidies from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology, with Doosan Robotics providing an additional 30.8 billion won.
