South Korean steelmaker Posco Holdings has completed its second lithium plant in Argentina, which will have the capacity to supply 50,000 metric tons of lithium hydroxide. This milestone comes eight years after Posco acquired mining rights to the Salar del Hombre Muerto in 2018, marking a significant step in the group's efforts to secure its own critical battery materials.
