A 44-year-old Palestinian man was killed and 16 others were injured in an attack by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, as reported by Al Jazeera. The attack occurred near Burqa, northwest of Nablus, while the victim was harvesting olives in his farmland. The Palestine Red Crescent Society stated that its teams treated five injured individuals, two of whom sustained gunshot wounds and three were beaten. The report noted that Israeli forces also assaulted ambulance crews attempting to treat the injured and briefly detained three paramedics and one volunteer. This incident comes amid an escalation of attacks against Palestinians during the olive harvest season.
