Hong Kong's securities watchdog, the SFC, is pushing for further market liquidity reforms, including developing margin offsets across clearing houses and enabling same-day settlement for bond deposits and withdrawals later this year. These measures aim to counter capital outflow pressure from a rallying US equities market and a strengthening dollar, according to CEO Julia Leung at an Asifma conference on Friday.
