XRP Ledger's escrow payment transaction volume surged from 1 million in July to over 13 million currently.
Chandler Fang, former Ripple Product Lead, stated that agentic payments transaction volume on the XRP Ledger is growing faster than expected. J.A. Akinyele, Engineering Lead at RippleX, predicted that XRPL's agentic payments transaction volume could soon reach 100 million. Currently, XRPL has processed over 13 million agentic payment transactions through 168 x402 merchants, compared to approximately 1 million in July. Agentic payments currently account for about 25% of the XRP Ledger's total activity.
