Oil prices rose on Wednesday amid concerns over supply disruptions due to escalating tensions in the Middle East. Brent crude for December delivery gained 1.24% to $107.02 a barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate futures for November advanced 1.18% to $95.25 per barrel. The escalation follows a deadly Houthi attack on Riyadh's main airport, with a Saudi-led coalition retaliating by striking Houthi energy terminals and fuel reserves in Yemen. Separately, the U.S. Central Command rejected Iran's claim of controlling the Strait of Hormuz, stating that American forces and regional partners clearly control the strait. Hedge fund manager Paul Tudor Jones commented that oil could rally another $20-$25 due to the Iran conflict.
