NVIDIA announced it is expanding European scientific access to advanced technologies through open learning resources, collaborations, and computing resources, in support of the European Commission's "AI for Science Initiative" launched in Dublin.
NVIDIA will provide over 250 open models, 250 open datasets, and more than 1,400 open-source software projects, covering areas such as large language models, healthcare, robotics, and climate science. Additionally, NVIDIA is collaborating with cloud infrastructure partners and national AI factories in countries like France, Spain, and Sweden to provide sovereign European computing resources for startups and SMEs. Currently, 35 supercomputers are under development across the European continent, marking Europe's largest-ever supercomputing capacity build-out, aimed at providing next-generation infrastructure for over 3 million researchers.
