China Construction Bank (CCB) has introduced large models into interbank market trading, becoming the first institution to apply them.
China Construction Bank (CCB) announced on October 14 that its RMB money market bond repurchase "AI Trader" has completed an iterative optimization, incorporating large AI model technology. This makes CCB the first institution in the interbank market to apply large models to trading in this market. This upgrade covers intelligent inquiry and quotation, collateral management, and transaction pricing for credit bond pledged repo. The large model can identify bond abbreviations, codes, and common expressions used by traders, while small models and business rules handle bond verification, approval, and inquiry/quotation interactions. Daily turnover in the interbank bond repurchase market is nearly 7 trillion yuan, and large models have now entered this high-frequency liquidity market. The National Financial Regulatory Administration has classified fund transactions as a high-risk AI application, requiring the establishment of manual supervision and intervention mechanisms.
