Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday praised Europe's "true leaders" for supporting Kyiv, while his strained relationship with Donald Trump cast a shadow over the EU summit aimed at garnering further support for Ukraine. Zelenskyy is reportedly facing increasing pressure to temper his public criticism of Trump. Three officials familiar with the preparations for the EU summit told the Financial Times that they plan to privately urge him to moderate his rhetoric when they meet with Zelenskyy in Brussels on Friday. Zelenskyy told reporters in Brussels that he hopes to end the war as soon as possible, but has not yet seen any signals from Russia to end it.
