US stock indexes ended mostly higher on Tuesday as oil prices and US Treasury yields eased. French stocks, however, fell amid ongoing worries about unrest in the country. Helping the Dow, 3M shares surged 5.8% after the company announced an expansion of its data-centre partnership with Amazon and raised its full-year profit forecast. After the closing bell, SpaceX shares rose as its third-quarter revenue more than doubled, beating estimates, driven by AI and Starlink growth. Netflix fell in after-hours trading due to a disappointing quarterly forecast. The yield on the benchmark US 10-year Treasury note dropped 1.5 basis points to 5.121%.
