Iranian FM Araghchi: Saudi, Houthis silent on mediation offer, warns on Egypt's intervention
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that neither Saudi Arabia nor Yemen's Houthis have responded to Iran's offer to mediate talks to end their conflict. Araghchi also cautioned that Egypt joining Saudi Arabia in the war against the Houthis would "further complicate the situation," noting that the Egyptian parliament has delayed a vote on authorizing its armed forces to support Saudi Arabia until October 26.
