Tesla CEO Musk stated on Tuesday that SpaceX and Tesla are exploring a potential merger, a move that could consolidate over 30,000 Bitcoins held by both companies. He revealed that each company has formed a special committee composed of independent directors to evaluate the merger. If successful, the merger would combine SpaceX's 18,712 Bitcoins and Tesla's 11,509 Bitcoins, totaling 30,221 Bitcoins. Musk said he believes it's a good idea but is not participating in the committee discussions due to conflicts of interest, and the special committees have not yet agreed on transaction terms. Additionally, SpaceX reported third-quarter revenue of $14.58 billion and earnings per share of 35 cents, both exceeding market expectations, which drove its stock price up by approximately 9% in pre-market trading on Wednesday.
