French Presidential Palace confirmed: Saudi Arabia pledged to continue increasing diesel supply to France, following previous agreements with Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Bahrain for a total of 295,000 tons of additional monthly supply.
The French presidential palace confirmed on Wednesday, local time, that Saudi Arabia has agreed to continuously increase diesel supplies if needed. Previously, France had finalized or advanced arrangements with Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Bahrain for an additional total of 295,000 tons of diesel per month, equivalent to slightly over 10% of France's diesel consumption. Specifically, Saudi Arabia had previously agreed to supply an additional 95,000 tons per month in October and November, the UAE committed to 100,000 tons per month, and Bahrain is expected to provide 100,000 tons per month, with contracts signed between French energy giant TotalEnergies and Bahrain's state-owned oil company BAPCO to implement this.
