Democratic nominee James Talarico on Wednesday criticized Elon Musk for donating $158 million in September to a Republican Super PAC that supports Talarico's opponent, Ken Paxton. Talarico accused Musk of trying to "buy his own personal U.S. Senator" and "buy Texas." Musk had earlier posted on X, stating "There is something deeply wrong with Talarico." The donation came as polls showed Paxton trailing Talarico. Talarico's campaign raised $64 million in Q3, while Paxton's raised $18 million.
