Ethereum clients Teku and Besu release Docker security fixes, addressing certificate trust issues.
Ethereum node software Teku and Besu have released Docker security fixes to address certificate trust issues stemming from the compromise of the eMudhra Certificate Authority. Docker images for Teku 26.10.3 (released October 27) and Besu 26.10.2 (released October 26) no longer trust four root certificates, including emSign ECC Root CA – G3. Users with binary installations need to independently check their Java runtime environments, as Java does not check revocation status by default, and affected runtimes still require separate remediation.
