Yemen's internationally recognized government's Foreign Minister, Afrah Al-Zouba, stated at a conference in Bahrain that regional stability depends on Yemen's stability. She reiterated in a post on X that restoring Yemeni state institutions is a "shared responsibility," emphasizing that "there can be no sustainable regional security without a stable Yemen, no stable Yemen without state institutions controlling all territories, and no stable Yemen without legitimate institutions solely holding the decision-making power for war and peace." Al-Zouba also condemned the Houthi siege of Taiz as a "war crime" and called on the international community to act to lift the siege.
