According to Al Jazeera's live updates, Israeli forces shelled the town of al-Mansouri and the outskirts of Hadatha in Lebanon's southern Nabatieh district at dawn, and carried out an airstrike on the town of Aynatha near Bint Jbeil. Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health stated that Israeli attacks have resulted in 8,920 deaths and 30,595 injuries from October 2023 to September 2026. Since March, Israel has maintained a military occupation in southern Lebanon and announced the establishment of a "buffer zone."
