Al Jazeera reported that a Palestinian man died from Israeli tank fire in the area east of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. The man, identified by Gaza medical sources as Ibrahim Adel Said, had been injured several days prior and succumbed to his wounds. This comes after Israeli forces continued to attack the Gaza Strip, despite a US-brokered ceasefire agreement having been in effect for a year, with at least four Palestinians killed on Saturday alone. Since the ceasefire took effect in October 2025, the death toll has reached 1,580.
